I stopped in Empire Slice House in OKC to see how their pizza was. I had heard about them from a friend but was skeptical in all honesty.

I was by myself and couldn't decide what I wanted so I decided I would try a slice of one of their "Daily Slices" options and then I would build a whole pie so that I would have dinner the next few nights.

The atmosphere was inviting and fun and the staff was superb in their service. They made sure my drink never ran dry (this is abundantly important to me), they checked in with me while I was waiting for the big pie because they do take a bit to cook (this one was about 20 minutes or so). But, it's fresh and delicious so I didn't mind!

I enjoyed the single slice that I had that day but my favorite was definitely the pie that I built myself. I know what I like and I know how I like it so I knew exactly how I was going to order it once I made my mind up to do a custom pie.

My absolute favorite part about this experience was watching the grown men walk by with their families and seeing their heads turn in admiration of the pie that had house marinara, ham, bacon, pepperoni, and more mozzarella.
